History
Built in 1893, Mount Oriel was a family home for many years, and with the increase in holiday makers to Portstewart the house became a Bed and Breakfast right up until 2017, when the then owner retired. The owner, Betty, ran the house for over forty years and visitors came to stay from all over the world with many of them returning year after year.
Betty's daughter Mary, her husband Paul and their family have spent considerable time and effort renovating and refurbishing the property. This would mean that the house would continue to provide a comfortable base for people to enjoy their holidays from.
