Thank you for your thoughtful attention to everything. The home is HUGE - even with nine of us here, we weren’t on top of each other.
The mix of modern and old furnishings gives such a friendly, homely vibe. We just loved it!

Mary is a wonderful host and a credit to Hospitality on the North Coast.
The house is absolutely stunning. It has been beautifully refurbished with modern touches, keeping its character and charm.
Mary has thought of everything a guest would want or need.
The kitchen and dining area is perfect for meal times and entertaining.
The downstairs wetroom and utility area is perfect after returning from the beach, cleaning up wet gear and the dog.
Every bedroom has been beautifully decorated, beds are super comfy and all with en suite. The living room looks over the promenade. We had great fun playing board games, watching the waves outside crashing on the shore. There is room for everyone to sit comfortably and lovely blankets to make things super cosy.
We stayed at Mount Oriel to celebrate my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. Mary went above and beyond to help me organise the trip, we arrived to a wonderful welcome, she had even arranged personalised 50 helium balloons. We will be back!

Mount Oriel was an absolute dream stay and exceeded all of our expectations. Mary was a fantastic host—so welcoming and thoughtful. Our children loved the little chocolate treats she left for them, and they really enjoyed the tour of the house, which made them feel right at home.
We stayed at Mount Oriel to celebrate our father’s 70th birthday, and Mary went above and beyond by leaving a card and gift for him. It meant so much to our family.
The location is perfect for exploring the North Coast, and coming back to such a beautiful and comfortable home each day was just wonderful. Every member of our group had an amazing time—even Louie the dog!
Mary, thank you for sharing your lovely home. It’s a credit to all your hard work, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Fantastic place to stay. Lots of thought has gone into the little details, like the provision of the folding chairs and the dog bed and bowls. Great place for a family stay. The location is excellent and would 100% recommend.
